- Who inspired you musically: My dad was a piano player. He purchased a bass for me in high school. I won a spot in high school jazz band. My equipment was later stolen. I did not play for 30 years until my now wife bought a bass for me to play.
- Favorite Artist/Group: I don’t have a favorite artist or group but I like all artists from the 60s through the 90s. I like jazz, R&B, jazz and fusion.

- Who Inspired me musically: I was 12 when I saw a drummer playing the drums at my childhood church. He inspired me to pursue drumming. He was unaware the impact he had on my life. As for singing, I was a fan of Luther Vandross. I admired his approach to the quality of sound, pitch, and audience relatability. Qualities I now used to help improve my presentation.
